Money Talk

Money Talk
Lets have more Money Talk in our Lives

What if we all talked more about money on a daily basis? Is it truly that awful to discuss money or is it another underlining reason people shy away from it. I can clearly say I don’t know the answer, but it is a way of life here in the U.S. to avoid awkward money talks especially around people’s personal monetary status.

Well I want to provide you with some simple, easy to discuss money talk topics and I hope you can get some value out of it. The topics today will all be random little tidbits to get you to talk more about finances.

Imagine a world where a husband and wife could sit down weekly to talk freely about money and not have fun arguments.

How about if the basics behind money management is implemented into the US school system as mandatory curriculum for all kids before graduating High School. Imagine the impact this could have on future generations. It could possibly bring about the collapse of pay day lenders, and other predatory loan facilities.

Let’s dream for a second if 2 times a year families with older kids sat down at the dinner table to devise a plan to increase income and or investing for the entire family.

Think of big picture planning like the Johnson & Johnson family does as televised in the film “The 1 Percent”. They are forced to sit down to discuss strategies by the financial advisors, and the heads of the Johnson family trust. Why can’t we all have our own meetings on a small scale?

If you feel overwhelmed to discuss things, just find someone to help you smooth out any anxiety or issues you may have around money and that is not trying to sell you something. Believe me they exist and they will teach you first and foremost just like a good mentor.

The Holiday Money Quotes

THe Holiday Money Quotes
Be Thankful for Quotes

The holiday season is amongst us and we all are feeling the joy. Every year at this time when people are giving blessings and welcoming Thanksgiving, the retail companies begin their marketing tactics to make you spend early and often. Why must we correlate the holidays with spending more than we have to, during Christmas? I see it all the time in the commercials, as kids get a big smile while receiving the latest and greatest toys. Those toys might be a must buy this year and you might be the super duper mom / dad who will get it for little Johnny.

But to enlighten you that toy will 75% of the time get pushed aside to collect dust a week after Christmas. So I ask you to begin this holiday season with a new mentality and question is your purchase really something that will be appreciated and will it add value to your kids life? If not I think you should just forgo the nonsense materialism. If you need an alternative present why not buy your kids a skill building lesson. (Dance, Sport, Instruments, Language Lessons)

Spend Less than you Earn

Send Less than you Earn
My two lucky Coins

Is this mantra really that hard to grasp? Why do I see examples of individuals living frivolously with their spending? Let me tell you a secret, if you do not follow the spend less than you earn lifestyle you will not succeed with money. I see people spending and they are smiling when they spend half of their paychecks on a thing aka product. How can anybody be happy spending that much money, when I spend that much it is with saved up money and I am still not smiling. Why don’t I smile when I spend, because I know the true value of my dollars, and I know the possibilities of what it can do? The only time I smile when I spend upwards of $500 bucks is when I am booking a vacation, because I can visualize the joy the trip will bring to my family. Today I want to share with you a few quotes and posts on the, spend less than your earn topic. (Hopefully you can see the value of it)
