Black Friday-November Calendar Update

Sharing is caring!

To all my financially smart shoppers:
Black Friday is around the corner!
There’s nothing better than to end the month and start the December holiday season with a few deals. I received inspiration for this post by finding on the internet a cool calendar that lists the best products to buy for every month. This list is a product of hundreds of hours of retail research done by financially smart shoppers. Every month I will post the categories that are supposedly on sale and it’s your responsibility to shop around for the best prices.  There are numerous reasons why these items are on sale, but I would assume that they are based on seasonal, cyclical, and historical purchasing patterns.  By all means you have the green light to spend your money on any item you desire, but these products listed below are most likely going to be cheaper in November than in May based on the research done. So if you’re in the market to buy a cool new Schwinn bike or a 42” Samsung Led TV now is the time.
November List:
·        Baby products
·        Bikes
·        Camcorders
·        Gas Grills
·        GPS navigators
·        Toys
·        TV’s
Use this valuable information to make good buying decisions if you have the means to do so, and avoid buying on credit. If you do not have the means to purchase something in cash then it’s probably not worth the stress. Emotional shifts in how we perceive our needs and wants is how we can avoid getting into debt. By shopping financially smart you will save money. Look in early December for my next calendar update.
Always remember to watch your money!

  1. Sites like BFADS.net (black friday ads dot net) are great for planning your purchases. I've used this for a few years now. This site permits you to select items that are added to a master shopping list by store. Simply, if you get to Target and they are out of The Wizard of Oz, you know you may be able to get it at Best Buy for a dollar more.Plan ahead – many stores are open Thanksgiving night so while you may be staying up late, you can sleep in on Friday!

  2. Great Post! Love the way you give us the "green light" to go shopping, and then mention if its not purchased in cash, its not worth it… -Im inspired by your desire to help us reach our financial goals. Keep up the good work.

  3. Thank you both for your comments, I really enjoy giving you all relevant and current information that you may use to better your financial situation. Yes I do like the idea of having a master shopping list, plus you can put dollar amounts you are saving next to every item on your list, that's genius. Also I did give you the green light to go shopping but please just do go shopping if you have the means to, what I mean is set up a realistic budget of what you can actually afford to spend. Thus making you a financially smart bargain shopper while avoiding the dreaded debt machine. LOL.

  4. Looking forward to a monthly shopping guide post…based on this info then I will have to wait until next November to get that TV…I want one, I don't need one, so I will wait until I can pay it in cash. Gotta keep an eye out for an AC lol.

  5. @Holly-I don't know if it's a bad thing or a good thing, but Tv's are mentioned several times in the calendar. So you will see them soon again. I guess their is a tv obsession in the U.S. As per the calendar the best time to buy the AC is August, but you will need it sooner. I think you can find some good deals in early May. So keep your eyes open for them.
